Since you have had experience using five stitching programs, can you share your reasons for picking Panorama Studio over the other software choices? Tried the following but ended up with Panorama Studio, and I'm glad! :-)

What do these programs offer that the freebie program from Canon does not? Or, to put it another way, if I upgrade to a different program, what added benefits am I getting? So far it seems OK, but I'm always on the lookout for ways to make my photos better. I've been using the stitching program that comes with my Canon S3 IS (Stitch Assist) for panoramic stitching. The new panorama blend action in Photoshop 3 is incredible! Gary Rosenberg edited this topic ages ago. second, I never used software putting them together, I just manually line each shot up in photo shop, using only mask on each picture. The way I produce mine is shooting every shot vertical, no matter what the scene is, that way, the picture has more canvas. and saving it for storing and sharing as a JPEG file. I load this TIFF file into Gimp 2.3.18 and edit a few things like sharpness, colors, etc. Now i have one huge, high quality TIFF file. After this process i got the pictures aranged and combined AND optimized concerning hue, saturation, etc. I save the pictures in a special style for postprocessing them with enblend 3.0. I was doing basically one touch Panos with the beta version. If you are looking for flash technology in a Pano tool look no further than photomerge in photoshop CS3 IT IS flash technology(Adobe bought Macromedia and this is the first version to use it.) I have been very happy with PTGui, and it's easy to use. Michael_davies edited this topic ages ago. It is not cheap but its really good and they have an upgrade option which will stitch HDR images. It's simple, easy, inexpensive and does a great job. I've been very happy with Calico on OS X.

I also hear good things about Hugin, but i've never tried it myself.ДЄrtchang Hugin and PTMac use Pano Tools and can be used on a MAC. i was using the Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens on a 30D. What about software for the mac - panorama studio seems to be windows only Has anyone tried AutoPano, EasyPano, or RealViz? I think there's also an open source version called Hugin which also uses Pano Tools. I've also been looking at PTGui, looks great.
